Hello I've just bought some annabelle potatoes and have put them on the windowsill, only problem is it gets very cold at night will this ruin them?
I do have a heated proper gator base would this help switching it on at night? Thanks for any help:-)

Just use a common sense approach. A frost free environment is all that they need to keep them safe. I think most fridges are set to about 4ºC so keeping them in there has only one down side ------they take up room.

you mean 'why'?

because I save the best of the crop, and keep them chilled (just like professional growers do) until it's time to replant them
