  • Climber plant

    Hello,
Can anyone suggest a climber plant which would be suitable for an east facing wall?
Any suggestions welcome. Wall looks a bit bare and would like to get something covering it. Also any ideas on eventually wiring/supporting it would be useful.
    Thanks

Clematis, honeysuckle or maybe a climbing evergreen hydranga. On my phone and I can't think of a name!!
There are a few threads on this already- here's one:

Only go for Russian Vine if you are happy to have something that looks like a disemboweled sofa on your wall during winter!

I have a leycesteria formosa which is a deciduous woody shrub that doesn't spread out too far, grows to about 9-10 ft and has great flowers in the summer. Worth a look.

Should have said it has strong upright dark green stems so while it not a climber it does have that form.
