Afternoon all,
I was just wondering if anyone knew of some gardening tools I can buy which are easy to transport as I don't have a car (nor know of anyone I can share transportation/a shed with) and only a large rucksack (the big travelling haversack varieties) to use to carry the tools down to half of an allotment patch I have inherited. The patch is about a 20 minute walk away and I by all means am not shy of walking but if I was to carry all my bits and bobs each visit I would end up wasting quite a bit of time going back and forth 2 or 3 times.
The patch I am sharing it with is with my neighbour but his different working patterns makes sharing a ride hard to do so I was just wondering if anyone owns/has owned any tools which, say, can be extended for example.
Something such as this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Set-Telescop...xp_grid_pt_2_1
Looking at reviews of various similar products I am quite sceptical about purchasing them though.
I wont be doing much digging as I am going to adopt the no-dig method.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback about how I can make life a little easier.
Kind regards,
Samuel
