    My wireworms are much wigglier and thinner than that. Those look like the meal worms we used to feed the orphan bat before he took off on his own.

      Sebbster,thank you i checked out that website and can't see a picture that looks like the "creature" that i found.The one it most resembles is the millipede but was bright orange? Was a very informative site although it made me itch!

            Grub

            There are a lot of grubs in the ground, what do you think they are? Big fat horrible things. Are most grubs OK

              Try and expose them on the surface - the birds will whoof 'em up - they are desperate for wiggly things to feed their youngsters now.
