  • peas help please

I was planting out some sweetpea plants today when I noticed that what I have labelled as peas look exactly the same as the sweetpea plants, same colour flowers and leaves. I don't know if the labels have been messed with, do they look the same, how can I tell?

Do you know the variety of each?

If so, you could Google for the name and "images" - that often produces a good range of pictures that might help you compare.

I tried Googling for sweetpeas and a few came up, but I don't know how old your plants are...

I personally wouldn't go with Meteor at this time of year but you maybe lucky.

I think there is a slight difference in leaf formation and the look of them when the two are compared. Perhaps if you have plants that look very much the same as each other then they are the same variety?

And taste of peas. Taste a leaf.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.
