          Oh- as to what you did wrong?
          It looks like it bolted cos of the weather/lack of water or some other stress.

              Lol, you lot are funny lol, this is a cauliflower, i have about 8 of them and they all have gone like this. I water them every evening, they all appeared to be doing great. I turned over a couple of the leaves to keep them blanched. Then about a week ago they went mad and this is the result. Nothing really changed except for the massive load of sun and heat.

              My question is, well im guessing they are still ok to eat?

                    I'd say they'll be fine- but, break off a bit and eat it raw...it may be tough if it got too dry.
