What is this insect & should I get rid of them?

I have found loads of these around my strawberry and loganberry plants, can anyone tell me if I should squish them or are they good?

I think it is a type of shield bug, called a brassica bug. What to do with it? Well, the clue is in the name!

Having said that, I have a lot of them on the brassicas and tend to pick off, but not squish, just take them for a walk. Probably ineffective, but I do get good brassicas if they survive the flea beetles.

Somone else may have a better id.

I get lots of green shield bugs on my raspberries, I love them. They might nibble a few, but it's such a handsome insect, I don't mind
