Is this normal marrow development?

Hello. DD has raised three great-looking marrows. They're growing nicely, around 10" long, striping up and generally doing well. I've placed them on tiles or bricks to keep them off the (very) wet earth. My only concern is that two of them are starting to yellow on the tip, but I'm sure I've seen them like that in the supermarket so is it anything to worry about? There doesn't appear to be any withering or mis-shaping, just a colour change.

Apols for no photo but the children are playing nicely outside, and if I go out to photograph the veg I will be claimed!

Edited to add: I gave the marrows a gentle squeeze earlier and the yellow bit feels squashy, so we decided to harvest and use them as they are. I'll upload a photo as I'd still like some advice about what it might be. Thank you.

The cause of that as far as I know is partial pollination. They're perfectly edible. Used to get that often on my cucumbers.

Oh, oh well. We'll use what we can this evening and keep an eye on the one that's fine so far.

Make sure they get plenty of water, or they start shrivelling.

Oh really, once they've grown? Spot the marrow newbie. It absolutely poured overnight so no shortage of water in the ground for the next day or so.

All cucurbits (marrows included) are very thirsty plants. They need plenty of water at all stages of growth.
