Help!!!!

We have our annual allotment show tomorrow and I have grown some parsnips in compost in drainpipes. I have dug them up today and they are looking good but have just realised I am not sure how to present them!!! I know Ihave to leave 3 in of leaf on but not sure about the rest(Am also entering heaviest spud at 1lb 14.5oz and a vic sponge!!)

present them nicely roasted, on a plate with beef, potatoes, yorkie puds, carrots, peas, cabbage and gravy

I was shocked to see every runner bean entry had a broken bean, and in every case it was the seventh bean along, what are the odds of that happening lol.
