What to do with shed

Hi all I have a shed down the bottom off my allotment it is run down need a bit of work doing to it what do people think about putting a shed back to life ?

Absolutely if you can, recycle recycle maybe change location, there expensive to buy

Yes I there is getting there slowly. The raised beds should make life easier.

Yea mines 45 yards and it's just me doing it haha so I'll be there digging all way till next year haha ..

While repairing it where it stands would probably be quite simple,I wonder how much more damage may happen during the taking to pieces,relocating & rebuilding stages.
Before you move the shed,I wonder why it was put at that end to start with ? is it more secure/less likely to have unwanted visitors,or maybe less likely to cast a shadow over the plot during the day.

Any chance of some pictures? you have to assess the degree of damage, boards are easy enough to replace but the supporting timbers would require complete disassembly. is the floor good? the roof?

TBH if it were mine I would look to fix it where it is,I would go for weather proofing it rather than making it look pretty.

Ok sounds good.... I'm not sure what to do ?? But wouldn't mind it actual on the plot itself as it's awkward where it is now no gate to get to it from the plot you have to go out of the plot and walk down the outside of the fence to get to it....

It was most probably sited there because the trees will draw most of the moisture from the soil where it stands,so anything planted in that area would have a hard time competing for water/nutrients.
Also moving it onto the plot would reduce your growing area by the size of the shed plus it's access path

Sound advice from BBloke, Also you need to cut down those branches they will damage your new roof.
Could you not put a gate in? Looking at it I think you will need to be handy to make it good, if your not find a mate who is.
If you do decide that you must have a shed on the plot then I would seriously consider buying a new/ second hand one, it looks to me if it will fall to pieces if you try to move it. Dont forget a comfy chair.
