But expect to sow more in March, they'll grow better with more light and be a more manageable size when it's warm enough to plant out.

I realy dont think that plants that get a bad start are ever as good as ones that get of to flying start. Its not so much the heat its the hours of daylight that makes them leggy, in another month all will be different.
