Where can I buy Sweet potatoes, ginger, asparagus & artichokes in the shops?

Evening all,

I was just wondering if any shops sell the above?

I know there are sites online that sell them but not sure which sites I should buy them from?

I don't recall coming across them whilst buying other bits and bobs on my general retail shop rummergings.

I assume you mean to eat, rather than to plant? I was in M0rris0ns this week and they had all of those on sale (Jerusalem Artichokes).

Often buy root ginger from Sains, I believe you can plant it too. Asparagus will be in too when it's in season.

Tesco have them all, including asparagus

In all main supermarkets... Kinda hoping you mean to buy to plant though as I would love to grow sweet potatoes and maybe a little ginger

Well why didn't you say so
You can grow sweet potatoes, ginger and Jerusalem artichokes from supermarket veg. Grow Globe artichoke from seeds or offshoots from someone else's plant. Asparagus are on sale by the major seed companies now.

I have had a sweet potato suspended in a jam jar for about a month, I noticed this morning 4 shoots have appeared (up until now just loads of roots).

hopefully I will have plenty of slips to plant, I'm loosely following something I saw on YouTube.
I have an extremely warm greenhouse in the summer so I'm hoping even if they are a variety that needs the warmth of an exotic country I should be able to cope!

So..sweet potatoes..local supermarket..buy one!
