The seeds are cheaper - they don't have fancy packets - and there is a huge range of varieties to choose from. The delivery is fast!
However I do find the web site quite confusing and difficult to follow. In addition, you can't just order at the click of a button unlike some of the others eg T&M. On the other hand, I got a very quick response to all my stupid questions and they are very cheap.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

That makes sense. Even in these days of being able to do so much online there is still something about sitting down browsing a catalogue with a glass/cup of something preferred.

Spent a happy hour last evening perusing www.moreveg.co.uk
They sell small packets of seeds and many are 50p each. For me, growing for 2 of us, this seems a great bet for next year. F1 hybrids are 75p - cor, the expense! I could sample a few different toms or peppers by getting 12 seeds of each - 50p per pack, or a selelction of 12 seeds which are 2 each of 6 types. Sounds brill! When I think of the packet of 150 aubergines I had to pay nearly folding money for it all seems a bargain. Has anyone used this company? I got their web addy from GYO mag.

Aaahhh but F1's are designed to be uniform in everway which means they will mature at the same time as well and as there are only two of you I think you'd be better with open pollenated or heritage varieties, that way you can have the fun of saving your own seeds

With regards to Moles seeds, whilst the seed packets may be too big for a persons use, if you are wanting to buy 20 or more strawberry plants, asparagus crowns etc they give much better value than the "big" named seed houses.

Oh yes, I was't aiming to buy the F1s Nick, I was just letting people know how cheap they were (unless you want 150 seeds!) Most of their stuff seemed to be open pollinated - I like to save my favourite tom seeds already!

Just to add a few more recommendations (and places to order even more seeds) here are a few of my favorite.

Sutton Seeds - http://www.Suttons.co.uk - They have a great selection of 'ordinary' seeds. Great value, great quality

                      Kings Seeds
                      - http://www.kingsseeds.com/ -- Another great company who sell some great varieties at very low cost. Also check out their sister company, Suffolk herbs.

Real Seeds - http://www.realseeds.co.uk/ - Now I like this company. They provide some seeds that are really 'different'. They have a lot of rare and heirloom varieties.

Theres a few more to get on with

It's like the telly Noidea. There is an off button It only takes a bit of self control.
