    I started off my earlies in the GH back in late Feb so they are well away reckon on about a month to first harvest.


    I may have mislead you, these ones I bags are in addition to my Earlies, Rocket, and Maincrop,Picasso, which are in the ground and already all up, earthed them up today. Put them in at beginning of April ( I think)

      Yes either would do.Also could fill up the bags with more soil/compost until the greenery is covered. Think widespread frost this friday which could get us both!

        If the weather map I saw last night is anything to go by the frost is due to hit from Scotland down as far as north London.

        If it is forecast later in the week my small containers will go into the GH overnight, the dustbin lids will go on and the rest will be fleeced.
