Storm proofing and mulching the garden, everything look ok?

We have heavy rain and thunderstorms forcast tonight so I've made some cloches for the young kale and radishes that germinated yesterday out of pop bottles, and also tried to make a temporary wind break for the young rhubarb plant that was put in around a month ago.
Does everything look ok with these?




I have cut holes in the pop bottles to try and get some ventilation in there.

I also mulched my rose and Euonymous with hops from yesterday's brew day. Hopefully this looks ok?
