Please can I ask what experienced Gardeners do about cuttings? I'm confident with hardwood, as simply shoving them into the ground seems to do the trick!!
However, when I take more tender cuttings - in Spring and Summer, I struggle. If I put them in the greenhouse they seem to cook! The leaves go crunchy or just flop!
I'm worried about leaving them outside overnight? Is it not too cold?
