LAST FEW!!!!! WELL DONE IF YOU SURVIVED THIS FAR!!
    41) small tree that looked dead but has sprouted a couple of leaves I the last week or so.. Slight red tinge?? Bark looks like it peels off.. Bit wind damaged, salty sea wind.
    42) weird small black plant.. Only about 10-15cm across, very flat, just sprouting a new shoot or two from the middle. Obviously planted on purpose by the previous owner as they had the back landscaped (with plants that I not sure particularly like being near the sea!?)

    THANK YOU!!!!

You are helping to entertain me in my stuck-in-bed-boredom!!! ( before i had this op I used to wish I had an excuse for a couple of days off work.. Now I would do anything for this devastating operation to not have happened..

Aargh I've been offline too long! But back and it's my summer how, days soon so bigger garden jobs can commence! I will get checking onshore of the identifications you guys have made... One I'm going to look up right now is number 2... Which was a completely dead looking tree but then came out with hundreds of small purple drooping flowers which the bees loved! Beautiful! & still going just starting to turn into small green fruits or berries with seeds??

No 13 looks like one of the dogwoods - cornus. It would be easier to tell in winter, when the stem colour really shines through.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
