Hi guys I haven't had much time to go up my allotment for weeks.. Due to new ventures in life new job etc. but went up there after work and it's a jungle don't know where to start but I'm off for a week what do you guys recommend strim it all down again ?

If you are planning on spending say 5 days there then I would divide the plot into 5 sections and deal with one section at a time.

Yeah that's a good idea .. But need to strim down and see what I need to dig up lol..

Looking back over your previous threads FB, I think you may need to consider downsizing as you obviously don't have the time to commit to a large plot.

I took on an over sized plot with great gusto and quickly realised it was like the Forth Bridge, no sooner I had got the end the beginning was catching up with me.

In addition to keeping it clear I quickly realised that I would need to grow far more than we could possibly consume. I spoke with the council and quickly got agreement to create two plots. I now have an oversized half plot that fits with my work life balance and gives me enormous satisfaction.

I think if you downsize FB, you will get a lot more pleasure out of it. I found looking after a half plot whilst working was fairly difficult.

Yeah is difficult specially like me working 60hrs a week
