Growing trees from seed.

Hi Rob,

They certainly look similar to the cobnuts I have growing in my orchard. Either that or Hazelnut. I'm not experienced enough to give advice, other than what was said on this thread already. I asked in the local garden centre at the weekend if I plant the whole nut or open it and the guy didn't know.

If its any help, I have them springing up all over the garden - buried by the squirrels - so I'm guessing they're buried whole, when the nuts are ripe.
