    Cucumber or Sun-flower?

    I have sunflowers in my garden this year...

    ... and I seeded a few cucumber plants.

    One cucumber died... so off I went and thought I seeded another plant.

    Its growing lovely - but looks remarkably like the sunflowers - but better?!

    Are they similar? I can't seem to find any pictures to resemble them.

    Feel abit daft -

        Doesn't look like any of my five types of cucumber. Think it is a sunflower

          Looks like a sunflower to me.
          There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

                Defo looks like a sunflower to me too!

                Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

                Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                  Just so I don't feel left out... my neighbour just happened to have 'free' plants at her gate - one being a cucumber! So I've nabbed one for myself - alongside with a pumpkin!

                  So I will be growing cucumber after all and have a rather large sunflower to feed the birds with too.
