  • Cape Gooseberry pinch out or not?

Have got some lovely plants grown from seed already have lanterns on them. Do I have to pinch out like on tomatoe's? Or just leave them to it? Thank you.

i just leave mine to it. they do get quite large though, eventually I do pinch out the tips but only when they touch the greenhouse roof

I have three plants on trial that I grew from cuttings off a neighbours plamt. One is in a large pot inside doing its own thing and flowering, one is in a pot in greenhouse and I keep taking the side shoots off, and one is planted outside.

The one that has been left do do it's own thing in greenhouse looks to be by far the healthiest and fruitful at present.

As far as my trial goes, in the words of Magnus Magnusson " I've started so I'll finish"
