Hi all,
I have just landed myself a brand new allotment and am the first to be on it. Its all very exciting and thought at first glance that it was simply covered by long grass alone except a few docs which had creeped over the back fence. After spending my first day there yesterday however I have found a few different species in the grass. I am clueless about these so hope you lovely people might be able to identify what they are; or at least tell me if they can go in the compost bin without giving myself a future headache! The site was a fallow field before a community group purchased the land to make allotments and a play area if that helps?
