No luck with the Rosemary and Blueberry yet(probably wrong time of the year too).
Rosemary I grew from putting stems of pre-cut supermarket rosemary into a glass of water. They were on the sell off so got a bag full for 9p. My remaining plant looks lovely, I might take some cuttings in spring as it's a fab plant.

I use rooting gel, altough there are lots of things where I don't bother and just stick in the ground. I seem to get about 80% success rate with gel and about 30% with the ram it in the ground method.
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
      Pumpkin pi.

Various French and English people have sworn to me that trying cuttings in water in which willow cuttings are also placed encourages things to root which otherwise would be difficult. The logic seems to be that willow contains its own 'rooting hormone' and this spreads through the water to the other cuttings.

I have tried it myself but didn't get much success, but has anybody else heard this or tried it. It DOES sound logical but I am not aware of any scientific experiments to verify or debunk the idea.
