  • I am with poo!!

So I went to the local stables and got a load of horsey poop and put it on my little patch.

can I just leave it now over winter, or do I nees to do anything else??? I was going to add a sprincle of potting compost on top, but wont if its not the right thing to do!
    thank you! X

I'd just leave the worms to get on with it

Never hurts to get more in my opinion, but you probably have enough there to make a difference

The worms will work their way through the lot, so don't worry about it

Don't worry about the worms they will find their way I some how. I have found them on top of my wood pile,1.5m high on the plastic covering under the logs holding it down. How did they get there?

I don't think you can ever have enough Helen, I've just had 8 ton dropped off & wondering if I have enough...............as it's relatively fresh, it will just stay covered with tarp in hooge piles & on top of the beds until spring.

I would also leave it alone and let the worms do the job, they are best.
