Having grown various varieties in the past but I am now hooked on self fertile varieties ( Firestorm ) but wont start them until the 3 week of April then plant a second batch the 3 week of May.

We have probably all planted things to early in the past but hopefully learn as we go. As is said " Todays disappointment is tomorrow's opportunity"

Now I have got my outdoor greenhouse and heated propagator sorted out I have put the beans in it for the time being. Put the taller ones on some stakes to keep them under control.

Thanks to everyone for the "advice" I planted my beans at the same time last year and did not have them shooting up quiet so quick. I live in Kent so hopefully the weather will pick up in the next few weeks so I can sell my smaller ones on at a local car boot fair.

Got peas shooting up as well as a healthly strawberry growth. Sweetcorn shoots just starting to poke through so all is well on the windowsills. My guinea pigs are impatiently waiting for the parsley and mint to grow so they can nosh their way through it, not to mention the salad leaves.
