  • Beans and peas - for east Scotland

Hi, I'm wanting to grow some beans and pea varieties this year, and would like to know if there are any varieties which are likely to struggle.

Or, alternatively, recommendations that may do very well.
    I'm in Fife.

As I live in the sunny South west I'm probably not the best to answer this one
Meteor peas (early variety) are quite tolerant of the cold and as they are dwarf plants would be ok on a open site.
Beans, I always grow Cosse violette, although I wouldn't know how well they grow further north.
Maybe some others will be along soon....

Hi Coachman, I'm in Edinburgh and I've never had any problems with peas or beans, they all grow fine.
