First thing you can edit posts - bottom green bar on each post.
Second it will help everyone give you advice if you add your location to your profile.
      Thirdly,

      and
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RD3t...E&noredirect=1 half way down the page.

If you have specific plants you are not sure about do come back and ask.

If its broad beans remove the top of the plant the bit that looks like a small flower of leaves - it helps with the forth coming aphid invasion.
If its toms, put your hand out flat and imagine a very small, skinny finger growing between your thumb and index finger (in the L shape) - remove it to stop the side shoots growing and lessening your tom harvest.
If its climbing beans remove the top of the plant to stop it getting taller and encourage it to get bushier.
Cucumber - remove the flowers that have the small sausage shape behind the petals - they are male and will not give you Q's
It would help if you let us know which veg you were thinking about.

Firstly the edit post feature doesn't work.

Secondly how will that help if I tell people I live in worcester?

          Thirdly thanks for the vid

Why so defensive Grow Own? It helps to know your location because advice given for North of Scotland is vastly different to that given for Cornwall.

OK, doesn't apply specifically to pinching out, but presumably you may have more queries in the future

              1. I could see you are fairly new to posting so I was trying to be helpful.
              2. As Rusty said - it's common forum practice to ask people to put a geographical location if it's not on their early posts.
              3. See 1.

Could I suggest, Grow Own, that you get yourself a good gardening book and sit down and read it.

Iesu mawr! Only just read this. What a cheek. Well done to who ever spotted that manoeuvre, (Enough difficult spelling for this time of the morning).

V will you let people know if they have been quoted without being asked as I would request removal if I had been quoted without permission? M

                            I'm not being defensive?

You've just confirmed that my location has nothing to do with the original post.

I was pointing out that the edit post feature doesn't work as marchogaeth seemed to be annoyed that I posted twice.

It seemed like you were annoyed, rather than trying to be helpful. I apologise if I misinterpreted the original post from you.

Again I don't really see what difference it makes where I am in the world.

I have got some gardening books, but the whole reason I am starting my own website is because it's so confusing. I'm not advertising my website it's just for my own reference.

I can't see how someone telling me what something means is infringing IP rights.

How am I coming in "Acting like a beginner" ?

                            I am a beginner.

I'm not pretending to be an expert either.

The website is a private website I have created to help me learn.

I don't see how giving incorrect information, however funny, would be helpful?

This is because it's a private website.

Honestly, I thought these forums were for newbies who are hoping to learn how to grow their own vegetables not for people on a witch hunt.

Grow own everyone on this forum are the nicest bunch of people you could talk to,why is it a witch hunt that people want to know who they're talking to & what you're doing with people's replies to your questions, why not be up front & say you're making a website & would like some help etc? If it's for your personal use why is it online & not in a word document,notebook-writing actually helps the brain absorb information. I think it's a bit of a cheek to be honest, you should have told people what you're doing with their information they're giving you, obviously it's not public because it's not complete,I'm grateful that vc pointed this out to us,it's our words,we have the right to know where they're being used don't we? Marchogaeth didn't seem annoyed at all,was actually being really helpful to you in the beginning & you replied in an unkind, defensive way that seemed rude to me & probably everyone else? People talk to each other with respect on here,be careful how you write things, read what you write before you submit replies & see if it could look sarcastic or friendly. The same goes when you read replies, don't take things the wrong way.
