Not sure if the photo makes it obvious but I have one corner of lawn with a noticeable dip, whereas the rest is totally level. On a big lawn you wouldn't notice but since my garden is small, I like to be precise and neat, and it makes mowing an even height tricky.
I thought about rolling back the turf and adding some soil but am not confident I wouldn't mess it up. On such a small area, and only about an inch dip to fill, can I just spread some soil on top, press it down flat, and let the grass grow through?
