germinate seeds in greenhouse

Newbie question about seeds in my greenhouse.
My first planting are some salad leaves and some herbs in my greenhouse on my new allotment. My question is that the greenhouse is obviously warm and probably perfect for germinating the seeds, but the pots dry out quickly and I can only get to the allotment to water once a day. Should I persevere or just bring the pots out of the greenhouse and risk them getting drowned in the showers forecasted this week?

The greenhouse is probably too hot for salad leaves anyway, they'll be much better outside

Can you start your seedlings at home and take them to the plot when they're established?

What herbs are they and what size pots. I would think they would be better off outside.

the herbs are in 6 or 7" pots

Put them outside, they should be fine.make sure they are well watered.
