I have a wooden wine box with all my small gems in - rubber bands and twisty ties from bought veg, dead batteries, the bags from inside wine boxes that were going to be an irrigation system, net bags I bought seed potatoes in, small empty plastic bottles, home made wire 'onion supporters', miscellaneous hosepipe fittings, tubes of glue, rolls of tape, gardening gloves that have seen better days... I never use any of the stuff in this box though, because I know there is a huge hairy spider living in there - I've seen it.
I also have a shed, which is basically an upscaled version of this box, housing more and even bigger spiders. The only things in the shed I use are my fork and spade, which are propped just inside the door.

I have 2 spare hoard bedrooms, and a garage that is full to over flowing.
I also have filled my parents dinning room back in the UK.
I remember when i came to Spain with just the 2 of us and a car full, it´s not even been 3 years yet.
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

One of my boys is a hoarder as well.
Dragged one bed ontop of the other and stole a pillow of the bed. I wonder if I put a pea under all of that if he would notice!

could someone please turn the photo, thank you

I save it to my computer, edit it with Picture manager, save it and repost it.
Often forget to delete the photo from my computer though and weeks later wonder when I took it

It's one of Murphy's Laws, isn't it? Clutter expands to fill the available space...

Also, data expands to fill available space. Is this why I have to keep buying extra storage space in the "cloud"? I have so much rubbish on my PC that I don't delete, just in case I want to look at it again. Sometimes I despair of myself.....

                Endless wonder.

                  Is it just me?
To answer your question NO. we just store things we need, it may not be now or within the next year but as has been said the minute we through something out its needed. My wife keeps telling me to get rid of half the mess in the garage, hut, greenhouse so the net curtains dont work with every thing.
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
