I've been managing to grow with some success my first tomatillo plants. I have 2. They live in a polythene greenhouse in a sheltered spot in the garden. As per their reputation, I have had tonnes of flowers. I really want these to grow into my first tomatillos (some have started and are about 10mm in diameter!!!
), but I live in Scotland and light/warmth are at a premium. Average temp now is 6-9 degrees.
My options are - leave them outside for more light, but colder nights, until the first frosts. Or bring them in to the house, which will be warmer, but I don't have a place near a window to put them, so they'll get the heat, but not the light.
Which will be better for them?
