  • Conservatory plant inspiration

    Hey folks

I have not yet planned anything plant wise for my new conservatory (put up last year) so am looking for edible and attractive plants to consider. Lime tree is on the guest list, but i want to have some kind of climbing plant to soak up the unwanted sun in one corner during high summer. It doesnt even have to be edible really.

Just wondered - if you had free reign over conservatory plants what would you go for? Conservatory faces northwest

Mine is currently full of chillies and sweet peppers. The lemon tree is still in there too but will go outside shortly for it's summer break when the weather gets more settled.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I've got a couple seedlings of Cathedral Bells (Cobea Scandens) for planting out in my greenhouse when it gets nice and warm

I start all my plants off in the conservatory and bring thrm in there when its too cold outside but I dont grow anything in it because it gets too hot in summer.
