last years grow bags

I grew some tomatoes for the first time last year and had reasonable success

BUT I now don't know what to do with the grow bags. Do people recycle the compost?
Mix it in with other compost?

You will need to add some fertiliser such as pelleted chicken manure or growmore to it, as all its nutrients will have been used up. To do this you'll have to tip out the compost to mix it. I wouldn't use it to grow tomatoes again in case any diseases are lurking there.

I mainly use old compost to mulch my veg beds, or mulch round fruit trees and plants. Just chuck it on a rake it out. No need to spend effort digging it in.

Or with old potato compost I grow carrots in deep tubs. Carrots like low nutrient soil and this is ideal. Though perhaps not directly in your grow bags, but you could fill some deep buckets and sow some carrot seeds!?!

I use ally add last year's container soil to my beds to build up the organic matter and bring the level back up, along with bfb and some home made compost.

I would say either just add it to the garden or veg bed to improve the soil, or, put it into a container, add a fertiliser of some sort and grow something in the container.

I often mix compost as 2 parts compost to 1 part manure in a big container then put some potato's in, Pink Fir Apple and Anya's are good for this. But there are lots that you can container grow.

Trying to add to the growbag and reuse the actual bag seems too much trouble.

Not having any beds to spread it on and growing only in containers I reuse as much of mine as I can.

Providing there has been no sign of disease the previous season I riddle it, sweeten it with a 7-7-7 fertiliser and reuse.

I would struggle to buy new each year mine dustbins alone need 960ltrs
