  • Tomatorite growbags

Hi everyone........ have potted up all my tommies into flower bucket size compost and added crushed egg shells to each lot of compost....... just about to start n my 3 mini cucs now and have just found an unopened growbag of Tomatorite in the shed from last Spring - as said it's not opened........... can I use this in the pots for my cucumbers or would it be better to go with just multi purpose.thanks all

I'd go ahead and use it for whatever you like, especially as it sounds like you've kept it clean and dry. Not sure what extra is meant to be in Tomatorite growbags over ordinary ones. Plants will still need feeding after 5-6 weeks.

Thanks Wendy ... assume it is higher maybe in potash but as cucumbers are fruiting that shouldn't matter but just wanted to check really....cheers!

Partly, but I've found 65l grow bags. According to the blurb they are enriched with tomato feed and seaweed extract.
