Hi, I've been using toilet rolls to grow broad beans from seed in my polytunnel. The rolls had started getting mould on them and I was advised this was ok it wouldn't cause any problems and so far that batch has been fine, they are almost ready for planting out! My second lot I have done the same way but again the mould has started but this time it has crept across the compost and it looks like it's on one of the beans! Will this affect the bean? Decay it maybe?
