We have just been given a sorbus tree by our landlady who came and planted it herself about 4 or 5 weeks ago. All she said was to give it plenty of water so that is what we have done.
It's now looking a little like it's struggling but then maybe that's how it is supposed to go!
I am slightly concerned for it as there is no drainage to the soil and as well as that, about 3 foot under the surface is a layer of concrete left when the house was built about 2 years ago. We are also in Norfolk where we have had nothing but scorching weather for 2 weeks!
Any suggestions as to what we could be doing better? Or is it doing fine and we just need to keep watering?
Thanks in advance.
