Hi just started growing tomatoes this year, problems with the leaves turning black and crispy also the stems have brown and black bruising on them, anyone advise please. See pics attached
Thanks
I hope I'm wrong but I'm afraid it looks like Late Blight. It arrives with the rain and spreads very quickly in warm, damp conditions. My own outdoor tomatoes have got it, although the ones in my greenhouse are fine.
If you g00gle "tomato late blight" and look at Images you'll see lots of similar pictures.
Are these growing outdoors? Which part of the country?

Hello & welcome to the Vine, I'm inclined to agree with Martin. If it is blight, the plant needs removing asap so as not to spread to other plants.

Yep think it's blight & you'll need to get ridown of the affected plants. All is not lost though as you can cook green tomatoes if they're not affected, I wouldn't expect them to store long though.
