First year trying aubergines - from what peeps have said here it might be the last! I love them though so fingers crossed they work. Suspect they & the melons may disappoint me.....

I get lots of fruit when I grow them in well-fed pots or in the ground outside (usually Ophelia F1 for baby aubs), but nearly nothing when I grow them in a greenhouse. Even with tapping the flowers or hand pollinating them. There has to be something in that, so this year they're all going out when it's warm enough.http://mudandgluts.com - growing fruit and veg in suburbia

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Well, very interesting! Not just me then .... good, she said with an edge of relief. I think I shall give them another bash this year - sow earlier, try a couple of different varieties and put them outside in a nice sunny spot on the patio. Now, all we need is the weather! Aaaargghh!
