Hi.
I am putting a tier into my garden, and in doing so extending my lawn a bit. Ive got LOADS of soil from our extension footings.
My problem is that down the side of the lawn (that slopes and needs leveling) are HUGE weeds (thistles, nettles, bind weed, rambling roses etc etc). Its had a through 'pull out' but returned so quickly. Im now in such a hurry (school holidays and turf arriving) that I just need to get on with it and deal properly once the children return .
Any advice? They have been strimmed away, I thought about shoving a load of weed suppressant over the patch and pop the soil on top - turf - then just mow the backside out of it in the hope they will just leave......
ANY help VERY gratefully received (I do know its a botch, but Im in a hurry Summer holidays + small lawn = nightmare).
