Hi all,
Since it's been ridiculously cold over the last few weeks, any my house doesn't have anything like the insulation my letting agent says it does (naturally), I've resorted to leaving my chilli seedlings on top of the heat mat that my propagator was sat on. They've been pricked out into 7cm pots, and fit snugly in the same tray on the windowsill, but without the lid on.
They're all, thankfully, still alive, but lately I've seen a few of the middle and even upper leaves beginning to curl up and go brown at the tips. I'm wondering if leaving the potted plants on the heat mat might be causing any problems, or if there's something else I should be looking out for?
