So growing spuds in bags in compost leaves seem to be yellower towards the middl getting greener towards to outer edges. I just wanted to know if this was something I should be worried about or need to act on. I will attempt to load a picture...

Depends on what compost and size of contaainer your growing in,how many seed tubers in container, also how long they have been planted..?
variety might play a part......general advice would be .....given plenty of growing space.....plenty of Nutrient......enough water .... and escape from Blight,...should produce a good crop .
Always remember that if growing in pots/containers, the initial nutrients will only support them for circa six weeks before a 'Top up' Required.
Without knowing specifics it's hard to advise more.

There rocket seed potatoes 3 in a 42l bag with compost and a handful of blood fish and bone mixed in planted in feb and moved under cover from th beast from the east then moved back out once the freeze had thawed.
Am just unduly worrying? I’ve never grown them before so don’t really know what to expect! I’ve got some seaweed feed so I’ll give it a try -see if that helps
Thanks for answering

You should get away with three but in future I would recommend two only in that size of container.
The nutrients in the container will be gone by about week 5 or 6 so they will need feeding, at this stage of growth a high potash like tomorite would be good and then keep them well watered, do not rely on rain as the haulm will be a very good umbrella.Potty by name Potty by nature.
