We hatched 5 Oprpingtons 3 weeks ago and have started putting them out in the 'big' run for a couple of hours a day when we are home.
Can anyone advice the feeding time scales
i.e chick crumbs, growers and then layers feed. How long are they on each
At the moment they are obviously on crumbs but out in the run they are picking at the grass etc is this OK?
Also how long do we need to put the heat lamp on at night? the are about 60% feathered and are indoors in our conservatory.
Not sure how many we will be able to keep possibly got 2 cockerels and wont be able to keep them in the area we are
