This was a wooden headboard I picked up at the dump. I bought this eglu sight unseen and discovered it had no floor bars/roosting bars. I suspect it was used for rabbits (nibbles to the food trough). My problem was finding a large enough piece of wood. I was thinking of a table top but saw this headboard and instantly saw the potential.
Used a pillar drill to drill 1" holes either end of the piece then used a jigsaw to make the bars by joining up the circular holes.
