My first egg

Hi all, Just thorght id share my first egg story with you, It was brill.
I saw one of my black rock hens go in the coop and i could here sum scratching, so i looked through the pop hole and she was in the nest, about ten mins later she came out shouting bakerc,bakerc so i lifted the nest box lid and bobs your uncle One egg.

I loved it when I happened to be in the shed when one of my girls laid an egg and I saw it happen. Sooo excited, hubby thinks I'm a right sad case!

Oohhh, how exciting!!! I dont have chickens, but I can imagine how excited, and proud, you must be. Poached, boiled or fried?

Iv left it in till the morning an put four more eggs in, hopefully it might get the other girrls going cos they was all nipping in and out while she was on the nest, me thinks it will be poached

I will sleep Thinking of egg on toast, Scrambled egg on toast, egg and bacon sarnie and so on , notice how i said egg an bacon sarnie, Il shut up now lol

Another egg

Got another egg today, I havent had the first one yet bbut plan to have them bothe tomorrow, Will let you know how it tastes

Had my eggs thismorning and couldn't believe how orange the yolks were
I scrambeled bothe but had to share them with my two kids, but theye tasted great

You realise that you're probably going to be overrun with eggs now better get good at meringues, custard, cakes of all descriptions, lemon curd...

Got 4 brothers and 4 sisters they all have kids so i think i won't have enough lol
