Aren't eglus made of plastic? If they are Ok why shouldnt tongue and groove?
Should be light enough - but wont it have to be lined for warmth?

Not sure, if it was draught proof but with ventilation wouldn't it be as warm as wood. With straw as nestbox bedding

Could you not have both, but not as many of each?

wont the speckeldys pick on the bantams as i thought they were a lot bigger. Was only going to get 3 chooks she says should i get 2 bantams or 2 speckeldys

its a date! lol, not sure how much brains I've got but would be happy to help you learn by my mistakes.
I would get 3 spekaldys, but if they have warrens get a mix, warrens are much friendlier. but thats just because i'm not a big fan of bantams
