chook has poo stuck to her feathers

Hi all
After some advice again. One of my chooks has always got poo stuck to her rear feathers. I have manually removed the poo on more than one occasion, She is just starting to get her tail feathers, so I'm wondering whether it is that or something more sinister. Any advice would be muchly appreciated.

If it is regular looking poo (not green or anything) it could just be her settling in. Is it the one that was being bullied?

yeh it is the one that was getting bullied, she seems to be holding her own now though.

Could be a touch of stress, if she seems well in herself give her a chance to settle in. Also she is maybe getting more greenery than she had been. Would say just keep an eye on her and see what happens.

My girls have always had dirty bums occasionally. Not sure why but I clean them when neccesary.
Only thing you really need to watch out for is fly strike in the warm weather - that is a real danger.

Whenever my girls got the runs, I made sure they also had enough flint grit as it assists their digestion. Hope shes better soon

This chook has started to lay, yahoo, she looks right pleased with herself as well. My brown chook has started to lay as well, just waiting for the black rock to join the party . Happy days.
