number for a small plot.

How many chucks would you guys and girls recommend for a small plot, i know i can manage atleast two? Does the amount matter or would they lay with or without large numbers and also is there such thing as a stud chicken i could rent to get chicks, just a thought.

I don't know how small is small, I've always been told that three is the minimum, in case one dies, then you don't have one on its own.
I've got my three in a 9foot by 9 foot covered pen which can be moved to new grass.
They seem quite happy in there, given them branches, they've made a huge dust bath and hang up greens and apples for them.
