Got our first ever chickens on Saturday and Jeremy (Clarkson) laid her first egg today, my perfumed Ayatollah wants me to blow it and keep it but its going to be poached methinks.

thank you, yep we called them, Jeremey, Richard, James and The Stig, they dont seem to mind the masculine monikers and seem to be taking on the mannerism of their Top Gear namesakes

I'm so jealous. We have permission to keep hens on our plot, but are still at the building stage, my own first egg seems so far away
