  • another eglu query

hi,currently obsessed with chooks. Eglu seems to be solution to my particular garden issues, but have trawled this and omlets site for answer to
my question without luck. So here goes - my garden slopes. Does anyone have experience of Eglu on slightly sloping ground. Iam slowly getting it terraced and flattened, but in the meantime am eager for new laid eggs.

Omlet seem to sell pegs for the run - do they work.? Im worried about foxes, as they are in the fields opposite my house.

    cheers

My wife uses the Omlet forum for help about keeping chickens, we dont have an eglu but most of the people on the site do. Everyone on that forum is very helpful so I would recomend registering and asking there.

I don't have an actual Eglu, but a triangular shaped run for my 3 guinea pigs. They are often moved to a steep slope on mother's lawn, and we weight the run down, or block any escape-routes, with house-bricks as needed.

we have our eglu on a slope and it was fine.

we did move it to the back of the garden which was flat BUT this was due to this being the only area chickens could go and stay and trash that part of the garden
