We always get eggs from our chooks coloured from medium brown to cream but today I found a chook egg with a pure white shell. I didn't know they could change the colour of their eggs or might there be something wrong? Any Ideas?
I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!
I only have two hens now(Speckeldys)and they lay eggs, though not very often, ranging from dark brown to cream. This must be down to age(three years) as they have always laid dark brown eggs before. The eggs, though are still as tasty as ever.(have tried spelling Speckledly a dozen different ways and none look right, old age or cheap gin, what do you think??!!)
